After the Tigers two victories over the White Sox yeasterday afternoon and last night, now i have to wait until 8:00 o'clock tonight to see if they can finish the seemingly impossible sweep of the dreaded Sox and their leader Mr. Ozzie Guillen. It seems like Mr. Guillen believes his team was overcome by bloop hits, [almost] foul balls as he likes to call them and just plain luck on the part of the Tigers. While this is partly true, all these things are part of the game, and sometimes they favor your team and sometimes the opponent. He was very quick to point out that Maggs lacked the ability to hit in the clutch while a member of the Sox and that he was good riddence by going to the Tigers---I for one, tend to remember these remarks and while Maggs is certainly having a very non-productive year to this point it gave me alot of pleasure to see his two-base knock sneak its way past third in the ninth inning [almost foul], and then Granderson's [almost foul] past first to tie the game. Seems to me it would be more professional just to give a team its dues when they win or to a player when he delivers during crunch time.
